Cinderclasm would be beneficial in a red aggressive deck looking to control the board by clearing small creatures. It can be particularly effective against token strategies or decks with multiple small creatures. However, for more efficient board wipes, cards like Anger of the Gods or Pyroclasm might be preferred as they offer more damage for a similar cost. Cinderclasm could see play in specific metas where its damage output is relevant, but it may not be a staple in most red decks due to its limited impact compared to other options.

An ability that triggers when a player casts a kicked spell resolves before the spell that caused it to trigger, but after targets have been chosen for that spell. It resolves even if that spell is countered.

The converted mana cost of the spell is determined only by its mana cost, no matter what the total cost to cast the spell was.
