About Bedlam Reveler

Bedlam Reveler, Creature — devil horror, designed by Jama Jurabaev first released in Jul, 2016 in the set Eldritch Moon Promos and was printed exactly in 8 different ways.

A deck that heavily relies on casting instant and sorcery spells, such as a spell-heavy red deck in Magic: The Gathering, would benefit from using Bedlam Reveler as it can potentially be cast for a reduced cost due to the number of spells in the graveyard. While Bedlam Reveler can provide card advantage by drawing three cards upon entering the battlefield, it may not always be the best option as there are other cards like Young Pyromancer or Snapcaster Mage that offer more consistent value and utility in spell-heavy decks. Bedlam Reveler could see play in specific deck archetypes that can consistently fill their graveyard with instants and sorceries, but its effectiveness may vary depending on the overall strategy of the deck.

Rules

03/19/21

If you have no cards in hand when Bedlam Reveler enters the battlefield, you just draw three cards.

03/19/21

Prowess is a keyword ability that means “Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, this creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn.”

03/19/21

To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost you’re paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions (such as that of Bedlam Reveler). The converted mana cost of the spell is determined by only its mana cost, no matter what the total cost to cast that spell was.

07/13/16

Bedlam Reveler’s first ability can reduce only the generic mana in its cost, not the red mana.
