My Hero Academia will hold an Ultra Expo in Japan on April 7 and 8, 2027. The two-day event was announced during a special broadcast featuring members of the voice cast and will close out celebrations for the anime's 10th anniversary.There are still no concrete details about the My Hero Academia Ultra Expo's schedule, attractions or guests. However, the event's official page says it will be the largest initiative in the franchise's anime history.The celebration follows the end of the TV series' final full season, which aired last fall. Although the anime's main story has come to an end, the franchise continued releasing new material throughout its anniversary year.Among those releases, My Hero Academia returned with an epilogue episode that showed more of Deku's life as an adult professional hero. A new short later offered one final glimpse into the future. Both releases adapted the final material left by Kohei Horikoshi's original manga.The Ultra Expo will bring a year of projects marking the anime's 10th anniversary to a close. Although it is exclusive to Japanese audiences, fans in other countries are expected to be able to follow some of its content.Studio Bones has already expressed interest in the franchise's future, without plans to revisit old paths. Meanwhile, Horikoshi returned to Weekly Shonen Jump this summer with the one-shot Quit Laughing, Shijima, whose ending suggested a broader universe for future stories.The My Hero Academia Ultra Expo will be held in Japan in April 2027.
