This card, Winds of Abandon, would benefit a control or tempo deck looking to gain advantage by removing multiple threats from the opponent's board while ramping them up. However, in a competitive setting, Path to Exile is generally considered a better removal option due to its lower cost and instant speed, making it more versatile and efficient. Winds of Abandon could see play in certain metagames where mass removal is crucial, but overall, it may not be a staple in most decks.
