About Savage Surge

Savage Surge, Instant, designed by Svetlin Velinov first released in Oct, 2012 in the set Return to Ravnica and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

Savage Surge would benefit aggressive creature-based decks looking to push through damage quickly, as it provides a temporary boost in power and the ability to untap the creature for additional attacks. However, there are potentially better options like Giant Growth or Vines of Vastwood that offer a similar effect with added flexibility or protection. While Savage Surge can be situationally useful, it may not be a top choice for competitive play unless the deck specifically benefits from the untap effect.
