This card, Bolt of Keranos, would benefit decks that focus on dealing direct damage and manipulating their library, such as red burn or control decks. While it provides a decent amount of damage and the ability to scry, there are more efficient options like Lightning Bolt or Lightning Helix that see more play due to their lower mana cost and additional effects. Bolt of Keranos could be considered in certain situations for its versatility, but it may not be a top choice in competitive play.

When you scry, you may put all the cards you look at back on top of your library, you may put all of those cards on the bottom of your library, or you may put some of those cards on top and the rest of them on the bottom.
