Strata Scythe, Artifact — equipment, designed by Scott Chou first released in May, 2020 in the set Scars of Mirrodin and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This card would be beneficial in a mono-color deck that focuses on having multiple copies of the same land in play, such as a mono-Plains deck in white. While Strata Scythe can provide a significant power boost to the equipped creature, there are other equipment cards like Sword of Feast and Famine or Sword of Fire and Ice that offer more versatile abilities and are generally considered better options in competitive play. However, for a casual or themed deck centered around lands with the same name, Strata Scythe could definitely see play and create some fun and unique gameplay situations.
