About Ebon Praetor

Ebon Praetor, Creature — avatar praetor, designed by Randy Asplund-Faith first released in Nov, 1994 in the set Fallen Empires and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

The Ebon Praetor card could be beneficial in a deck focused on sacrificing creatures for value, especially if it includes Thrulls to take advantage of the +1/+0 counter ability. However, due to its upkeep cost of -2/-2 counters, it may not be the most efficient choice compared to other cards that offer similar abilities without the drawback of self-diminishment. In competitive play, other cards like Grave Titan or Wurmcoil Engine might be better options for a similar strategy, making it less likely for Ebon Praetor to see play in top-tier decks.
