About Diabolic Servitude

Diabolic Servitude, Enchantment, designed by Scott M. Fischer first released in Oct, 1998 in the set Urza's Saga and was printed exactly in 7 different ways.

A reanimator deck that focuses on graveyard recursion and sacrificing creatures would benefit from using Diabolic Servitude, as it provides a continuous loop of bringing creatures back from the graveyard to the battlefield. While there are more efficient reanimation spells like Reanimate or Animate Dead, Diabolic Servitude's unique ability to return itself to hand when the reanimated creature dies can be advantageous in certain situations, making it a viable option for decks looking for recurring creature threats.

Rules

10/04/04

If the creature is on the battlefield and is returned to its owner’s hand or is exiled, this card loses track of the creature and has no further effects in the future.
