Madonna’s “Love Sensation,” a collaboration with Kylie Minogue, debuted at No. 8 on the UK Official Singles Chart this week. The result marks the singer’s 65th Top 10 hit in the UK and extends her record as the woman with the most songs in the chart’s top ten.

The track also marks a milestone for Kylie Minogue, who has earned her 37th Top 10 on the British chart. The collaboration brings together two artists whose careers have been defined by chart success and further cements their presence in this week’s rankings.

“Love Sensation” follows another significant achievement for Madonna. Her newly released album “Confessions II” reached No. 1, making her the first North American singer to top the chart with an album in five different decades.

Kylie Minogue has also achieved the feat, leaving the two artists tied for the record. The achievement adds to the run of historic milestones surrounding the release of “Confessions II” and once again places Madonna among the biggest names in music in the UK.

The collaboration will also be celebrated at a party dedicated to both singers’ careers. The VHS Party is scheduled for August 21, next Friday, at Barra/CO. Tickets are limited and available through Shotgun.

With “Love Sensation” at No. 8, Madonna earns her 65th British Top 10, while Kylie Minogue adds her 37th appearance in the same section of the chart.
