Coyote vs. Acme opened with a 100% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 15 reviews published so far. The comedy, which was shelved by Warner Bros. during a cost-cutting effort, is now in theaters.

Inspired by a classic satire published in the New Yorker in 1990, the film swaps the highways for the courtroom. After suffering explosions and accidents caused by Acme Corporation’s defective products while trying to capture the Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote decides to sue the industrial giant.

The case is taken on by an unlucky lawyer played by Will Forte, known for The Last Man on Earth. Representing Acme on the other side is Buddy Crane, played by John Cena. The character is also the former mentor of the lawyer defending Coyote.

The cast also includes Lana Condor, known for To All the Boys I've Loved Before. Behind the scenes, James Gunn serves as a producer, Sammy Burch wrote the screenplay and Dave Green directed the film.
