Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity will take a one-month break before airing its final two episodes. Episode 49 is scheduled for October 19, while Episode 50, which will bring the anime to a definitive close, will be released on October 26.The hiatus begins after Episode 48 and will give the production team additional time to complete the pivotal episodes. Viz Media has also confirmed the U.S. streaming release schedule through Hulu. The final season began airing during the Northern Hemisphere summer and has been adapting moments fans have awaited for more than a decade. Although it is the shortest installment of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War so far, it also features a demanding production and new material compared with the original ending of Tite Kubo's manga. The two remaining episodes will determine the outcome of the battle between Ichigo and Yhwach. The characters' final confrontation received a rushed conclusion in the manga, amid pressure for Kubo to wrap up the series quickly. The anime adaptation has made room to explore that ending in greater depth, incorporating events that did not appear in the original publication. The episode preceding the hiatus raised the stakes even further by showing Yhwach present in all three worlds, seeking to destroy everything. That moment was not part of the manga's ending, putting the anime's final stretch in new territory ahead of its adaptation of the epilogue. With the break confirmed, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity will resume on October 19 and conclude its run one week later, on October 26.
