Winding Constrictor, Creature — snake, designed by Izzy first released in May, 2020 in the set Aether Revolt and was printed exactly in 6 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's a key card in 2 combos.
A deck focused on +1/+1 counters or other types of counters would benefit from including Winding Constrictor, as it amplifies the effectiveness of those counters. However, there are better cards like Hardened Scales that offer a similar effect more efficiently. Winding Constrictor could still see play in decks looking for redundancy or additional support for counter-based strategies.

If an artifact or creature you control would enter the battlefield with a number of any kind of counters on it, it enters with that many plus one instead.

If you control two Winding Constrictors, the number of counters placed on the artifact or creature is the original number plus two. Three Winding Constrictors adds three to the original number, and so on.

Winding Constrictor’s effect can’t apply to itself as it’s entering the battlefield or to any other permanent entering the battlefield at the same time as it.
