Wattfox would be particularly beneficial in a control or stun deck, where disrupting your opponent's plays is key to maintaining board advantage; its effect can effectively halt your opponent's momentum after it’s destroyed, allowing you to capitalize on the turn without fear of counterplays. However, there are arguably better options for disruption, such as Mystic Mine, which can prevent your opponent from playing altogether if they don't meet certain conditions, or Skill Drain, which can negate monster effects while allowing your own strategy to flourish. Despite this, Wattfox can still see play in niche builds that focus on Thunder monsters or specific strategies that can capitalize on its unique effect, especially if you can protect it or recycle it easily.
