This Wall of Spears card would be beneficial in a defensive-oriented deck that aims to control the board and protect your life total early in the game. While it has the advantage of first strike, there are potentially better options such as Wall of Swords or Wall of Denial which offer additional abilities like flying or shroud. However, if your deck specifically needs a first strike blocker, Wall of Spears could still see play as a solid defensive option.
