About Role Reversal

Role Reversal, Sorcery, designed by Mathias Kollros first released in May, 2020 in the set War of the Spark Promos and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

A deck that focuses on creature theft or control effects, such as a Blue/Red control deck or a Grixis theft deck, would benefit from including Role Reversal. However, there are better cards like Threaten or Act of Treason that can achieve a similar effect at a lower mana cost and with more flexibility. Role Reversal may not see much play in competitive decks due to its higher mana cost and limited utility compared to other options available.
