About Rite of Consumption

Rite of Consumption, Sorcery, designed by Ron Spencer first released in May, 2008 in the set Shadowmoor and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

This card, Rite of Consumption, would fit well in a black-based aggressive deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures for value. Decks that can generate a lot of small creatures or have ways to benefit from sacrificing creatures would benefit most from this card. While Rite of Consumption can be powerful in the right deck, there are potentially better options like Tendrils of Agony or Bitter Ordeal for more competitive play due to their broader applications and potential for higher impact. However, Rite of Consumption can still be a strong inclusion in specific strategies that revolve around sacrificing creatures for value.

Rules

04/15/13
