Quirion Druid, Creature — elf druid, designed by John Matson first released in Feb, 1997 in the set Visions.
A deck focused on land-based strategies, such as ramping or landfall, would benefit from including Quirion Druid as it provides a versatile option to turn lands into creatures. However, there are better cards like Nissa, Who Shakes the World, which offer more impactful land-based abilities and can generate more value. Quirion Druid could see play in casual or budget decks, but in competitive environments, it may not be the most optimal choice.

A noncreature permanent that turns into a creature can attack, and its abilities can be activated, only if its controller has continuously controlled that permanent since the beginning of their most recent turn. It doesn’t matter how long the permanent has been a creature.
