Plague Sliver, Creature — sliver, designed by Dave Allsop first released in Oct, 2006 in the set Time Spiral and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Plague Sliver would be beneficial in a Sliver tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, where the focus is on synergy and buffing all Sliver creatures. While the self-damage effect can be a drawback, the potential for widespread removal of opposing creatures by leveraging the power of multiple Slivers could be advantageous. However, there are better cards like Crystalline Sliver that provide protection for the Sliver creatures, making it a more viable option for competitive play. Ultimately, Plague Sliver could see play in casual or themed decks that aim to showcase the unique tribal mechanic of Slivers.

If the creature type of a Sliver changes so it’s no longer a Sliver, it will no longer be affected by its own ability. Its ability will continue to affect other Sliver creatures.
