Onyx Goblet, Artifact, designed by rk post first released in Oct, 2008 in the set Shards of Alara and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A deck that focuses on draining the opponent's life total would benefit from including Onyx Goblet, especially in a black-based control deck or a deck that aims to win through incremental life loss. However, there are better options available, such as \[\[Cabal Coffers\]\] or \[\[Exsanguinate\]\], which provide more efficient ways to drain life or generate mana. Onyx Goblet could see play in a casual setting or in a deck with a specific theme, but in competitive play, it may not be the most optimal choice.

The only difference between a colored artifact and a colorless artifact is, obviously, its color. Unlike most artifacts, a colored artifact requires colored mana to cast. Also unlike most artifacts, a colored artifact has a color in all zones. It will interact with cards that care about color. Other than that, a colored artifact behaves just like any other artifact. It will interact as normal with any card that cares about artifacts, such as Shatter or Arcbound Ravager.
