Omen, Sorcery, designed by Eric Peterson first released in May, 1997 in the set Portal and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This card, Omen, would be beneficial in a control or combo deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides card selection and helps set up future draws. While Omen is a decent card for its cost, there are stronger options available such as Ponder or Preordain, which offer similar effects with added flexibility or card advantage. Omen could still see play in decks looking for redundancy or additional card selection options.
