About Noxious Dragon

Noxious Dragon, Creature — dragon, designed by Svetlin Velinov first released in Jan, 2015 in the set Fate Reforged and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.

A deck focused on controlling the board and removing smaller threats would benefit from including Noxious Dragon, as it provides a flying threat that can take down low-cost creatures upon its death. While Noxious Dragon can be a solid inclusion in such a deck, there may be better options available depending on the specific strategy and meta. Cards like \[\[Baleful Strix\]\] or \[\[Shriekmaw\]\] offer similar effects with additional utility, so it's worth considering the overall synergy and power level of the deck before deciding if Noxious Dragon should see play.

Rules

11/24/14

A face-down creature has a converted mana cost of 0. However, its converted mana cost changes when it’s turned face up. Thus, if a creature is turned face up in response to being targeted by Noxious Dragon’s ability, it may become an illegal target.
