Narwhal, Creature — whale, designed by David A. Cherry first released in Oct, 1995 in the set Homelands and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This Narwhal card would be beneficial in a blue-based control deck that aims to control the board and protect itself from aggressive red decks. Its combination of first strike and protection from red makes it a strong blocker against red creatures while also being able to deal damage effectively. However, there are better options available in the current Magic: the Gathering card pool for similar mana cost and abilities, such as Frost Titan or Stormbreath Dragon, which offer more versatile and impactful abilities. Overall, while Narwhal has its niche uses, it may not see much play in competitive decks due to the availability of stronger alternatives.
