A deck centered around midrange or control strategies with a focus on creature combat and board presence would benefit from including Meglonoth due to its strong defensive and offensive capabilities. While Meglonoth's ability to deal damage to a creature's controller upon blocking is unique and powerful, there are other cards like Inferno Titan or Avacyn, Angel of Hope that offer similar abilities along with additional benefits, making them potentially better choices depending on the deck's overall strategy. Meglonoth could see play in certain metagames or casual formats where its abilities shine, but its high mana cost may limit its effectiveness in more competitive environments.
