This card would be beneficial in a deck focused on casting spells that target creatures, such as a Boros aggro or Heroic deck in Magic: The Gathering. While Hero of the Nyxborn provides a decent value with its token creation and buff effect, there are potentially better options like Favored Hoplite or Akroan Crusader for a more aggressive strategy. However, if the deck aims to utilize the token generation and buff effect synergistically, Hero of the Nyxborn could definitely see play in the right build.
