This Fire Imp card would be beneficial in a red aggressive deck aiming to control the board by removing opponent's creatures quickly. While Fire Imp is a decent card for its cost, there are stronger alternatives like Lightning Bolt which can deal direct damage to any target, making it more versatile and efficient. However, Fire Imp could still see play in decks looking for specific creature removal options or in formats where Lightning Bolt is not legal.
