A deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly, such as a green-based ramp deck or a multicolor deck that needs fixing, would benefit from using Fertile Ground. While Fertile Ground is a solid card for mana acceleration, there are better options available, such as Utopia Sprawl, which can also fix mana colors and has the potential to ramp even faster. Fertile Ground could see play in certain budget or casual decks, but in more competitive settings, other options may be preferred.
