Defender of the Order could be a valuable addition to a white weenie or creature-based deck looking to protect its board against combat damage or removal spells. However, there are potentially better options like Benevolent Bodyguard or Selfless Spirit that offer more versatile protection abilities or effects. While Defender of the Order may not be a top-tier choice, it could still have a place in more casual or themed decks where the +0/+2 boost can be strategically useful.
