A deck that focuses on resource denial and control would benefit from using Death Cloud, as it can disrupt opponents' game plans by depleting their life total, hand, creatures, and lands all at once. While Death Cloud can be a powerful card in the right deck, there are other options like Pox or Smallpox that may be more efficient in achieving similar effects. Whether Death Cloud should see play depends on the specific strategy and synergies of the deck it's included in, as well as the overall metagame it's being played in.

If you control a permanent that’s a creature and a land, and you choose to sacrifice it as you sacrifice creatures, it won’t be on the battlefield when you sacrifice lands. You can’t sacrifice it again.
