Architect of the Untamed, Creature — elf artificer druid, designed by Sara Winters first released in Sep, 2016 in the set Kaladesh Promos and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
This card would be a great fit in a green ramp deck that focuses on playing multiple lands per turn to generate energy counters quickly and create powerful 6/6 Beast tokens. While Architect of the Untamed offers a unique and flavorful ability, there are potentially more efficient cards for creating large creatures in Magic: the Gathering. However, if the deck is built around landfall triggers and energy generation, this card could definitely see play as a fun and thematic inclusion.

Energy counters aren’t mana. They don’t go away as steps, phases, and turns end, and effects that add mana “of any type” to your mana pool can’t give you energy counters.

Keep careful track of how many energy counters each player has. You may do so by keeping a running count on paper, by using a die, or by any other clear and mutually agreeable method.
