The Akroan Phalanx would be beneficial in a red-white aggro deck looking to maintain board presence and apply pressure. However, there are better options like Benalish Marshal which provides a similar effect but with a higher impact due to its anthem effect. Akroan Phalanx may not see much play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to its mana cost and the availability of stronger alternatives.
