A mysterious figure in a black and pink dress may be Susan Linden, also known as Black Orchid. In the comics, she becomes a human-plant hybrid and often opposes Lex Luthor.

Superman is shown in captivity, visibly weakened by kryptonite. Lex Luthor appears to be in control, while Metamorpho wields the green rock as a weapon - a direct threat to the Man of Steel.
The Engineer and Ultraman
Angela Spica, aka The Engineer, appears with advanced tech-based powers. Meanwhile, a masked figure in the trailer has fans speculating that he could be Ultraman - a twisted version of Superman who gains strength from kryptonite.
