Carla Jeffery, best known for playing Bree in the Zombies franchise, has died at 33. The actress died Tuesday, the 1st, and the cause of death was not disclosed.

The news was accompanied by a statement from her agent, Carla Alexander, who recalled the actress's journey from the early years of her career.

“For more than 20 years, we had the privilege of watching Carla grow into a beautiful, vibrant and incredibly talented woman whose radiant smile could light up any room. She was more than just a client; she was family.”

Jeffery rose to prominence on the Disney Channel playing Bree, a Seabrook High School student and aspiring cheerleading captain who befriends Addison, played by Meg Donnelly, in Zombies. She reprised the role in the franchise's sequels and voiced the character in Zombies: The Re-Animated Series.

The actress was also part of the cast of Curb Your Enthusiasm. She played Keysha Black, a member of a Black family who moves in with David after Hurricane Katrina. Carla Jeffery appeared in 10 episodes spanning the sixth and seventh seasons, which aired from 2006 to 2008.

Born in Houston on July 19, 1993, Jeffery made her film debut in the romantic comedy The Pretty Girls. Her filmography also includes The Best Teacher and Girl on the Edge.

On television, the actress appeared in productions including iCarly, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Lie to Me, Shake It Up, Suburgatory, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Scream Queens.
