Netflix has released a new preview for Take Charge of My Heart, starring Chae Soo Bin and Kim Young Kwang. The romantic comedy follows a woman who can recharge the artificial heart of a man whose battery is running low.Based on a web novel, the drama stars Kim Young Kwang as Baek Ho Rang, a conglomerate heir known for his cold, controlled demeanor. Chae Soo Bin plays Na Bo Bae, a lonely screenwriter living with an unusual condition.After being struck by lightning as a child, Na Bo Bae began to have electrical currents running through her body. As a result, she cannot hold another person’s hand without giving them a shock. That changes when she meets Baek Ho Rang and discovers that he may be immune to her touch.In the preview, Na Bo Bae wakes up in a private hospital room and is surprised to find Baek Ho Rang lying in another bed a few meters away. After unsuccessfully trying to wake him, she cautiously approaches to test whether she can touch his skin without giving him an electric shock.Because Baek Ho Rang does not react to her touch, Na Bo Bae starts imagining that she has finally found a man she can have a relationship with. Her hope is short-lived: while examining his face up close, she is startled when Baek Ho Rang opens his eyes.Realizing what is happening, Baek Ho Rang starts calling the police. Na Bo Bae stops him and tries to explain what happened, but he repeatedly insists that she leave the room.Take Charge of My Heart premieres on October 9.
