Anya Taylor-Joy is having a major moment in entertainment. Three productions starring the actress are attracting large audiences on streaming at the same time: the crime thriller Lucky, the science-fiction action film The Gorge and the animated movie The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.On Apple TV, Lucky debuted at No. 1 in the United States, knocking Silo off the top spot on the platform. The seven-episode series follows a con artist played by Taylor-Joy, who believes she has left her past behind until her former life comes looking for her.The Gorge arrived on Apple TV in 2025 and continued attracting viewers throughout 2026. In the film, Anya Taylor-Joy stars opposite Miles Teller in a science-fiction action production.The actress also returned to the role of Princess Peach in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. The animated sequel became the first film released in 2026 to surpass $1 billion at the worldwide box office before arriving on streaming.Anya Taylor-Joy's next project will be Sacrifice, a Netflix film starring her alongside Chris Evans. The production premieres on October 16 in the United States and France. Taylor-Joy plays Joan, the leader of a group that storms a charity gala on a Greek island and takes a movie star played by Evans hostage.The story pushes the character into an even more extreme situation involving an active volcano. The cast includes Vincent Cassel, Salma Hayek Pinault, John Malkovich, Sam Richardson, Ambika Mod, Charli XCX and Yung Lean. Romain Gavras directs the film, which was shot in Greece, Bulgaria and Iceland.Taylor-Joy will also appear in Dune: Part Three, which is expected to hit theaters later this year.
