Introduction
In the world of anime, a character's hair color is often more than just aesthetic; it can be an extension of their personality, powers, or even their backstory. Each color may carry symbolism and expectations that shape how we perceive these characters.
With that in mind, we decided to organize a list of iconic characters divided by hair color, trying to determine if there's any pattern (even if coincidental) among them. Could it be that hair color also influences how you view your favorites?

About Our Choices
It's important to note that this small exercise is not meant to represent all anime characters. The list, featuring just three characters per color, is a small and fun sample intended to explore some possibilities without the pretension of being exhaustive.
Of course, there are many other amazing characters with each of these colors, but the choices here are just a selection. One more thing: aside from a few exceptions, the list focuses on battle shounens!
Black Hair: Serenity and Mystery
Characters with black hair often represent calmness, mystery, or reserved strength, especially in battle shounens—in comedy anime, the equation changes entirely. But, as with any rule, there are always exceptions! Also, every color already has a set of ideas or feelings associated with it, and we tried to respect those throughout this piece.
Itachi Uchiha (Naruto)
Itachi's black hair reflects his dark and mysterious personality. He is reserved, calculated, and bears a burden few can understand, having sacrificed himself for the village he loves.
Mikasa Ackerman (Attack on Titan)
Practical, loyal, and incredibly strong, Mikasa represents someone who fights for those she loves. Her black hair complements her reserved yet determined personality.
Aki Hayakawa (Chainsaw Man)
Calm, composed, mysterious, organized, and a bit melancholic. The perfect example of the black-haired stereotype in certain anime (Hello, Fugoshiro and Megumi).
Blonde Hair: Energy and Radiance
Blondes in anime are often associated with charismatic, powerful, or vibrant personalities. Additionally, many blonde characters tend to be foreigners.
Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto)
Naruto lights up any scene he appears in. His blonde hair symbolizes his vibrant energy, determination, and promise to change the world around him.
Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist)
What he lacks in height, Edward makes up for with immense willpower. His blonde hair reflects his brilliant intelligence, courage, and the spark he brings to any situation.
Saber (Fate/Stay Night)
With an air of nobility, Saber’s blonde hair highlights her royal origins and strength as a legendary knight. It reflects her determination and crucial role in the story.
Iconic blondes like these are part of a much larger group. The energy and brilliance they bring to their stories certainly aren’t limited to just these three figures.
