Marvel has released a new dubbed trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, confirming Marco Ribeiro as the voice of the villain. The voice actor also retains the same classic voice he used for Iron Man.

The casting puts to rest questions that arose after the first trailer, when the darker tone of the performance—altered by the character’s mask—led fans to wonder whether Marco Ribeiro had been replaced. The voice actor himself confirmed his involvement in the production.

The video features never-before-seen footage, including a confrontation between Thor and Doctor Doom. The trailer also highlights the villain’s connection to the Fantastic Four, with Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the Thing, Joseph Quinn as the Human Torch and Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic.

Avengers: Doomsday will be released in domestic theaters on December 17. Robert Downey Jr. plays Victor Von Doom, while the cast also includes Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Florence Pugh and Chris Hemsworth.

Unconfirmed plot details are also circulating online. A rumor attributed to the @MyTimeToShineH account claims that Monica Rambeau and her mother, Maria, will die together after preventing several incursions that took place off-screen. The two characters have not been seen since The Marvels.

Monica Rambeau’s last appearance, played by Teyonah Parris, showed the character waking up in a medical laboratory after becoming trapped in an alternate reality. There, she encountered a variant of her mother, Maria, played by Lashana Lynch, who had taken on the mantle of Binary in that universe.

The leak also claims that other characters may die and be resurrected for the final battle against Doctor Doom and his forces in Avengers: Secret Wars. The sequel is scheduled for release on December 17, 2027.
