Another Mother opened up a lead in the U.S. box office race. The horror film starring Jessica Chastain grossed US$ 3.6 million from previews held in 2,850 theaters across the country, outperforming The Other Side of the Web.The Universal release, produced in partnership with Blumhouse and Atomic Monster, is expected to finish its opening weekend with between US$ 22 million and US$ 28 million.
