Lisa has begun her latest solo chapter with “SaWaDiKa,” released this Friday (4) as the first preview of PRESS PLAY, her upcoming EP. The track returns the BLACKPINK member to hip-hop, a sound that defined her earliest releases outside the group.

The title refers to “sawasdee ka,” a greeting used in Thailand. That connection to the artist’s home country shapes the concept of the music video, filmed in Bangkok, her hometown.

Directed by Bang Jae Yeob, the video combines choreography, costumes and urban sequences with local references. Among its settings is the historic Hua Lamphong station, while elements such as Muay Thai and traditional tuk-tuks contribute to the visual construction of “SaWaDiKa.”

The production places Lisa at the center of the scenes and reinforces the connection between the rapper and her Thai roots. The official video has already surpassed 60 million views on YouTube.

“SaWaDiKa” launches the PRESS PLAY campaign, with the six-track EP set to arrive on platforms on October 23. The project follows Alter Ego, Lisa’s solo album released in 2025.

The previous album featured songs such as “Rockstar” and “Born Again,” and Lisa now presents the first chapter of her next release with a track that blends rap with the cultural identity inspiring this new phase.
