Studious First-Year // Rampant Growth would fit best in slower green midrange or ramp decks—especially in formats that value early mana development and incremental card advantage—since it functions as both a creature and a delayed Rampant Growth, letting you advance your board while holding future ramp value; Commander decks that care about creatures (blink, +1/+1 counters, tribal Wizard synergies, or sacrifice value) would benefit most from the flexibility. That said, in most competitive environments there are more efficient options: **Rampant Growth**, **Nature’s Lore**, and **Three Visits** ramp immediately for two mana (with the latter two being stronger because they can fetch untapped dual Forests), while creatures like **Sakura-Tribe Elder** or **Topiary Stomper** provide ramp with better stats or immediacy.
