Taylor Swift has removed songs used in TikTok videos posted by Donald Trump's team. The posts, which promoted the current U.S. president, have been muted on the platform.

The tracks used included "August," "Father Figure" and "The Fate of Ophelia." A message at the bottom of the muted posts reads: "This sound isn't available."

One video used "August" and said: "I'm sure Taylor Swift is going to be super excited that we used her song." Instead, the audio was removed.

The tracks' unavailability indicates that the songs were used without the singer's permission. No further details about TikTok's audio removal process have been disclosed.
