The Portuguese dub of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus premieres on Crunchyroll on November 12. Following the release of the Japanese-language version with Portuguese subtitles, dubbed episodes will arrive weekly.

Streaming since October 11, Beerus revisits Goku’s first encounter with the God of Destruction. The story begins after the defeat of Majin Buu, but a new threat soon puts Earth at risk: Beerus awakens from a long sleep and sets out to find the Super Saiyan God, a warrior he saw in a dream.

The search leads Beerus to Goku and, later, to Bulma’s birthday party. There, Vegeta realizes before his friends just how dangerous their visitor is. The events will be familiar to anyone who knows the beginning of Dragon Ball Super; what changes in Beerus is how they are presented.

The new version features new scenes, redrawn sequences and changes to the story’s structure. It offers a fresh way to revisit Goku and Beerus’s first meeting, even for viewers who watched the original broadcast.

Until the dub premieres, Dragon Ball Super: Beerus remains available on Crunchyroll in Japanese with Portuguese subtitles. Starting November 12, Portuguese-dubbed episodes will be released weekly.
