However, there are better cards like Goblin Electromancer or Baral, Chief of Compliance that provide similar cost reduction effects for a wider range of spells, making them more versatile choices. Thornscape Familiar could still see play in specific themed decks, but for overall efficiency, other cards might be more favorable.
