Skinshifter, Creature — human shaman, designed by Matt Stewart first released in Jul, 2011 in the set Magic 2012.
This Skinshifter card would be beneficial in a versatile green deck that focuses on adaptability and strategic combat maneuvers. Its ability to transform into different creatures with varying abilities can provide flexibility in different game situations, allowing for both offensive and defensive tactics. While there may be more powerful cards with similar effects, Skinshifter's cost-effectiveness and potential for surprise plays make it a solid choice for decks looking to keep opponents on their toes.

No matter which mode you choose, Skinshifter will retain any other card types it may have. For example, if an effect causes Skinshifter to be an artifact in addition to its other types and you activate its ability choosing the first mode, it will be both an artifact and a Rhino creature.

Skinshifter’s ability doesn’t affect its copiable values. Creatures that enter the battlefield as a copy of Skinshifter will enter as 1/1 Human Shaman creatures.

You choose the ability’s mode when you activate it.
