This card could be beneficial in a red deck that focuses on cycling through cards quickly to find key pieces of their strategy. However, there are likely better cards available that offer more impactful effects for the same mana cost. Ridge Rannet may not see much play in competitive decks due to its relatively high cost and limited impact compared to other options available in Magic: the Gathering.
