About Qiqirn Merchant

Qiqirn Merchant, Creature — beast citizen, designed by Andrea Tentori Montalto first released in May, 2025 in the set Final Fantasy.

A control or tempo style deck that focuses on card draw and hand manipulation would benefit from using Qiqirn Merchant in Magic: the Gathering. While the ability to draw cards and discard them can provide card advantage and filter through the deck, the added benefit of sacrificing the creature to draw three cards could potentially provide a significant advantage in the late game. However, there may be better cards with similar abilities, such as Merfolk Looter or Thirst for Meaning, that offer more immediate impact or efficiency, making Qiqirn Merchant less likely to see play in competitive decks.
