Malboro, Creature — plant horror, designed by Dan Watson first released in May, 2025 in the set Final Fantasy.
A deck focused on discard and disruption, like a control or midrange strategy, would benefit from including Malboro in their deck. While Malboro offers some value through its Bad Breath ability and Swampcycling, there are stronger options available in Magic: the Gathering for similar effects, such as Liliana of the Veil. Malboro may not see top-tier competitive play due to its relatively high mana cost and more efficient alternatives.
