About Illusory Gains

Illusory Gains, Enchantment — aura, designed by Kev Walker first released in Mar, 2015 in the set Dragons of Tarkir.

This card, Illusory Gains, would be beneficial in a control or tempo deck that aims to disrupt your opponent's board state by taking control of their creatures. While it can be a fun and flavorful addition to a deck, there are more efficient and powerful options available such as Control Magic or Treachery, which provide immediate control over a creature without the risk of it being moved to another creature. Illusory Gains could see play in casual or themed decks for its unique effect, but in competitive settings, there are better options to consider.

Rules

02/25/15

Illusory Gains’s last ability is mandatory. You can’t choose to have Illusory Gains not move.

02/25/15

The last ability of Illusory Gains doesn’t target the new creature. It will become attached to that creature even if that creature has hexproof or shroud.
