Hopeful Vigil would be a great addition to a white weenie or token-based deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing early board presence and card selection through scrying. While it offers decent value for its cost, there are potentially better options such as History of Benalia or Raise the Alarm which offer more immediate impact or value over time. However, if the deck is looking for a specific effect like scrying or a sacrifice outlet, Hopeful Vigil could still see play in certain strategies.
