This card, Elemental Augury, could be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on manipulating the opponent's library and disrupting their strategy. However, there are better options available such as Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek which provide more direct and impactful disruption. Elemental Augury may not see much play in competitive settings due to its relatively high cost and limited utility compared to other cards in the same color combination.
